Train / Spaceship
One of my favorite parts of Einstein on the Beach. I think if God has a sound this must be it.
The Philip Glass Ensemble perform “Train/Spaceship” (part 2) live at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London in 1982. From a VHS only release called Four American Composers: Philip Glass by Peter Greenaway.
UPDATE:
Philip Glass talks about finding an audience, and playing for his mother.
I love how he rocks out that Jew-fro.
